the house was set back on a dirt road hidden from prying eyes by a thick wall of pines. it looked old on the day it was finished in the summer of 34 and since then it had only gotten colder and more worn. it had seen its share of horror in its time there, 2 suicides, 1 murder and a mysterious drowning.
these days if you see it in the off season when it is empty and alone you would swear it was breathing, it never looks at rest when people are in it. it has an uneasiness about it as if it is an animal biding its time playing dead until a predator has passed.

my piece for the funnies show promo
my most recent works
Through economy of form, line, figure and environment, the viewer can be guided to discovering very real and sometimes very difficult aspects of the world in which they live. Objects, characters, texts, myths, metaphors and compositions are created or appropriated to reveal a story or event that alters the lens through which they see.
Often times the work deals with issues that have altered and shaped my life such as mental illness, friendship, sex, loneliness, family, humor, territory and violence.
